Costa Rica opens telecoms industry

The Costa Rican Congress has finally allowed the opening of the country's telecommunications industry to the public. This will ensure that more investments will be poured on telecoms and the Internet sector.

Interestingly, Costa Rica is already late in the privatization game, as many governments have given the industry to the private sector.
