Costa Rica's National Emergency Commission declared a yellow alert(2nd of 3 alert levels) last Tuesday after having two possible cases of Influenza A (H1N1). Health Minister Luisa Avila announced a $5 million budget will be dedicated to stave the flu outbreaks in their country. Currently 2 persons, a 21 year old female and 28 year old man are identified to have the symptoms of the swine flu but still need final confirmation from U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
