    Quake Kills 1 Child on Costa Rica

    A strong earthquake shook Costa Rica killing a child and sending residents into streets as their windows and walls cracks off. The young girl was killed by a landslide near the city of Alajuela.

    The earthquake was identified by the U.S. Geological Survey with a 6.1 magnitude temblor, centered 22 miles northwest of the San Jose near the Poas Volcano national park.
