Central America has bee hit hard by the swine flu pandemic this year. The hardest hit has been Costa Rica, that, however, has the most organized health care system in the area and has probably detected the most cases. The country also has the most deaths. One important person who contracted the swine flu is President Oscar Arias, who is secluded in his home in San Jose waiting until the seven-day isolation period is over. We wish you good health, Mr. President!
