Last 2008, Costa Rican authorities have recorded more rainfall this year than it had in the last six decades. Costa Rica's National Emergency Commission declared a yellow alert(2nd of 3 alert levels) last Tuesday after having two possible cases of Influenza A (H1N1). Health Minister Luisa Avila announced a $5 million budget will be dedicated to stave the flu outbreaks in their country.
