Empowering Generation Next

By Website Introductions at 05/25/08 21:01

The young generation is the future of any country and they certainly need to be empowered with proper technical education if the nation as a whole has to survive in the increasingly competitive world in the times to come. Proper planning is necessary for this and Costa Rica seems to be on the right path as can be judged from the new National Technical University which can absorb 8000 students

San Jose's air is dirty, says Health Ministry

By Website Introductions at 05/24/08 04:51
Oh no, I won't be surprised if people will flee San Jose and go somewhere else.

A recent government report shows that nitrogen dioxide and manganese levels in the atmosphere of San Jose are above levels prescribed as safe by the World Health Organization. This means that air pollution in the city is so bad that it does not affect only the environment, but public health as well. Beware.

The Costa Rican Congress has finally allowed the opening of the country's telecommunications industry to the public. This will ensure that more investments will be poured on telecoms and the Internet sector.

Interestingly, Costa Rica is already late in the privatization game, as many governments have given the industry to the private sector.
