Croc Croc - Dont touch my boat

    06/24/08 02:57
Deadly things are a source of terror, but they could be a source of amusement and enjoyment also. Well I have not gone mad, but perfectly in my senses, but you will surely go mad once you see a lot of dangerous crocodiles from a safe distance and the way they move around. I am talking about the Tarcoles river in Costa Rica which is home to such crocodiles

    Waiting for Zipline Safety Standards

    06/22/08 23:49
What do you think of flying through the air while being tethered to a steel wire? Sounds exciting? Well, you are not the first one who thought it's cool. Zipline, the name given to this extreme sport, has already gained some popularity from extreme sport enthusiasts.

This rising popularity, however, has already raised some safety concerns, as someone from Texas has already died from this activity. It's still an unregulated sport, so it would still be best to just wait for regulations to come in and take into effect.

Don't be deceived by fake treatments

    06/19/08 12:06
Desperation can really put us in situations that we will normally not do if we are not desperate.

For example, there are clinics around the world, including those in Costa Rica, are offering stem cell 'therapies' even though there is no medical basis. Despite this, these type of clinics lure people from the Western world, thinking that they will be cured with these 'cures'.

This kind of practice is already condemned by international scientists as only a way to strengthen these countries' medical tourism.

The Mini Columbus of Costa Rica

    06/09/08 21:40
We all like to travel places, so it should not come as a surprise to know that animals love travel too. No wonder the Elephant Beetle as shown in the picture of this webpage, traveled all the way from Costa Rica to UK in chilling temperatures just to have some fun. After all its not easy to travel as stowaway when you are 5 inches big and are sprayed with pesticides. In the end, just like Columbus, he found the other side of the world
