    The Search for Greener Pasteurs

    07/16/08 22:27

We all like to hunt for the greener pasteurs and especially people from the developing regions of the globe like to settle in the developed parts such as the USA. But the problem comes when people come to the US for study purposes, complete their graduation and then are not willing to leave and choose to stay even illegally with fear of deportation always lingering on their heads.

    The Sportsman Spirit

    07/16/08 14:26
All work and no play certainly makes Jack a dull boy and this was realized by Pilurzu who motivates kids to in Costa Rica to stay in school rather than quit at an early stage. He correctly feels that sports give a new lease of life to the otherwise monotonous academic career and gives inspiration to students to continue struggling for their dreams to come true some day. Thats what you call sportsman spirit

    New leatherback migration route discovered

    07/16/08 14:13
The preservation of the leatherback turtle, the world's largest turtle may be ensured now that another migration route has been discovered.

This migration route, which starts from Playa Grande to somewhere in the South Pacific, is rather unusual since it is a tight route, unlike other leatherback routes that have the turtles rather dispersed. This may give some clues to the reason behind their dwindling presence.

    The Young Golf Course

    07/15/08 01:14
Golf is an interesting sport which is played on a large ground known as the golf course. Well I do not claim to be a professor in golf but certainly know a thing or two about it. So when I heard that country club of Liberia is building a gigantic golf course in Costa Rica I was really excited about it. They have contracted the famous golf course architect Mike Young for the purpose

    Anglers harrassed by seiners

    07/13/08 15:09
It seems that even the quiet hobby of being an angler can put your life in danger as well--especially when there are seiners nearby.

This is what happened during one instance in the coast of Costa Rica, when a confrontation erupted between some anglers and commercial seiners. The anglers claimed that explosives were dropped the day before, and the next day they were surrounded.

    Costa Rica abolishes insurance monopoly

    07/13/08 13:27
After 84 long years, Costa Rica has finally approved the demolition of its insurance industry and opening it to national and international competition.

Before this, the nation also abolished monopoly of the telecommunication industry. This is not without any reason, of course, as Washington was the one that demanded these abolitions so that Costa Rica can enter the Central American Free Trade Agreement.

After the long wait, Costa Rica has finally come up with a bill that will punish all violators of intellectual property rights. It was no easy job, of course, since the bill was revised a fair amount of times, but it's never too late.

Now, Costa Rica is only a few bills away to be able to get a Free Trade agreement with the United States
