    A Helping Hand for a Dream Home

    With all the economic downturns of every country, it would seems like hope of achieving one's dream is such a blur. It is a good thing that hope never dies and one concerned establishment has took the initiative to make the first step to help out people to reach their dreams.     China sends rest of $300 million loan to Costa Rica

    The Costa Rican government has finally received the rest of the low-interest loan granted to the country by China for breaking its diplomatic ties with Taiwan and recognizing Beijing back in 2007.

    The loan, which amounts to US$300 million, was paid in two installments. The first installment, amounting $150 million, was paid last year after the deal was secretly forged.

    Sudden drop in coffee prices hits Costa Rican producers

    Surprise cuts in the price of coffee forced Costa Rican coffee farmers and cooperatives to sell at a loss way below their purchase costs.

    These cooperatives have paid the farmers in anticipation of a stable price, so when prices fell by more than a third, they had to shoulder the losses. This might be disastros for the industry if these cooperatives start to shut down.
