For the last thre years Shifi Ettinger has been traveling at her own expense and taking pictures which she hopes to help showcase local surfing events in all of Costa Rica. Wife of U.S. embassy employee was tied up during the home invasion by three men carrying shotguns. This is only one of many of the invasions on up-scale homes in Escazu. Costa Rica's win of 2-0 over El Salvador ensures that they will face Panama in the final of the Central American Cup on Sunday.
