Villagers Live Longer

A ten year old Tiburon student participated in a Blue Zones Quest for three weeks and during that time studied a cluster of villages in Costa Rica. The fifth-grade student, Chace Schomstein, was looking into why these villagers lived longer than anyone else in the hemisphere.

In a country known for being home to fugitives work at home businesses are the only way they can earn money to live. One way of earning money is by turning in your neighbours for a reward and it seems the internet is a starting place for many expats.

$100,000 Worth of possessions were taken

At a house in San Rafael, Escazu on Thursday and invasion by robbers gagged and tied up the U.S. Embassy employee's wife during an armed robbery. The three me were carrying shotguns entered to home of Mrs. Coopley and by 11:40 a.m. had taking $10,000 worth of possession.

LandAmerica Financial Group Inc. which provides transaction services opened headquarters in Costa Rica. The office who looks after real estate deals and offers escrow services saw it's shares close up 16 cents at $63.88.
