A Costa Rican Constitutional Court suspended the extradition to the United States of Nicole Kater, 28 and U.S. citizen, which is accused of kidnapping her child Tierra Zion Gehl-Kater and bringing her in Costa Rica.Kater was under an order from a northern California court not to leave country due to a pending decision on the child custody. A higher court overturned the ruling that a Costa Rican initially rejected the U.S. extradition request and Kater was handed over to U.S. authorities last 17th of December.
