EU, Latin America to go with negotiations on tariff cuts

Costa Rica, the world's second largest banana exporter, is on its way, along with its neighboring nations, to make negotiations with the EU nations to cut down tariff on imports.

According to farmers in Costa Rica, tariff cuts will greatly reduce operating costs, which will eventually benefit farmers better in the long term. EU, for its part, said that it will be devastating for the local economy.
