U.S. President George W. Bush issued a proclamation which will bring a pact between the United States of America and five South American countries to a regional free trade agreement.Negotiations will start by January 2009 with Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatamela, El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua. These countries will be the last of the CAFTA Nations to ratify the pact with United States.
U.S. Trade Representative Susan Schwab said the this deal is an important miestone in their political and economic relationship with Costa Rica along with the other five countries
